Durability by design: Waterborne concrete coatings that protect, beautify, and extend service life
Arkema’s advanced solutions for concrete not only protect and beautify concrete but also support more sustainable construction practices. Two complementary concrete coating technologies will be discussed: ENCOR® 5900 penetrating hybrid acrylic emulsion engineered to provide excellent adhesion on aged or unprepared concrete, and ENCOR® 5650 all‑acrylic latex designed for durable clear and pigmented topcoats. Together they strengthen the overall coating system, improve long‑term performance, and align with Arkema’s commitment to developing sustainable, high‑performance materials for concrete protection.
