Polyurethane systems (hydroxylated polyester)
- Hydroxylated polyester grades for PU powder coatings
- Targeted at demanding automotive and car body applications requiring high flexibility and chemical resistance
Hot melts and adhesives
REALKYD® polyester polyols are used as base resins for solvent-free polyurethane adhesive and hotmelt systems, offering a well-defined structural platform for 2K and 1K PU formulations. They are as quick as conventional hotmelt while having the strength of a reactive system.
- High performing polyester polyols from linear to branched structure
-
Wide range from highly crystalline, liquid & amorphous grades
- Precisely controlled molecular weight, OH value and acid value
- Excellent compatibility with MDI, TDI & aliphatic isocyanate crosslinkers
-
Tunable open time — from extended (liquid grades) to short (crystalline) to shortest (amorphous)
-
Good flexibility across all grade types
-
Various bonding profiles to meet adhesion requirements
-
Bio-based grades available with up to 100% bio content, delivering equivalent mechanical performance, flexibility & chemical resistance
Realkyd polyester polyols are used in different polyurethane applications
