Sartomer® specialty methacrylate resins
Arkema’s Sartomer® specialty methacrylate portfolio includes monomers used as reactive diluents and polymer building blocks, together with urethane and epoxy methacrylate oligomers. Beyond their contribution to reactivity, hardness, flexibility and chemical resistance, these solutions can also act as adhesion promoters, supporting fast curing and strong bonding in UV/EB, peroxide and dual-cure systems.
The portfolio includes acid-functional methacrylates, carboxylic acid half-ester blends, specialty polyester acrylates and chlorinated polyester acrylates. Their high acid content can enhance both adhesion and alkali solubility, while the oligomers can be blended with solvents or monomers to adjust viscosity, physical properties and curing performance.
Key applications
Sartomer® specialty methacrylate resins are used in high-performance coatings, adhesives, composites and engineered polymers, as well as in UV/LED applications such as 3D printing and nail care. Their adhesion-promoting properties make them particularly suitable for formulations requiring reliable substrate bonding and durable film performance.
Sartomer® photoinitiators for efficient UV Curing

Sartomer® UV stabilizers
Sartomer® SpeedBlock additives are designed to protect UV, LED and EB-curable formulations and other energy-curable formulations over time.
