Fast-drying acrylic binders for high productivity and long-term visibility
ENCOR® DT acrylic binders form the core of Arkema’s traffic marking portfolio, enabling rapid return-to-traffic and efficient application workflows. These waterborne latex binders provide strong adhesion on asphalt and concrete, excellent abrasion resistance and weatherability, and consistent film appearance across varying application conditions. Formulators can achieve durable line markings that maintain visibility and integrity over time while reducing labor and downtime constraints.
These binders support longer service life through improved scrub durability, better retention of retroreflectivity, superior water wash-off behavior and increased resistance to mudcracking. Such attributes are critical for maintaining long-term visibility and safety across road networks subjected to traffic, moisture, dirt and wear. Specialty additives to enhance formulation stability and application performance
To complement its binder platform, Arkema offers specialty additives engineered to optimize pigment dispersion, viscosity control and formulation robustness. COADIS™ dispersants enable quick and efficient pigment grind, improved stability during heat aging and better overall formulation handling. Compared to common competitive dispersants, COADIS™ technologies can also improve dry time, helping applicators achieve faster return-to-traffic in real conditions.
