Rheology Modifiers

HASE rheology modifiers are capable of selectively adjusting viscosities in all ranges of shear rates through:

• Water gelling effect as a result of neutralized carboxylic acid groups plus chain entanglement
• Self-assembly mechanism and associativity with binders and surfactants thanks to hydrophobic end groups

Their thickening ability is based on backbone comprising carboxylic acid groups.

They need to be neutralized using an amine or an alkali solution in order to become water-soluble, alkali solution in order to become water-soluble.
