How does it work?
HEUR rheology modifiers act on the viscosity of formulations through:
- The polymer solubility thanks to the hydrophilic chain
- The associativity between binders/surfactants and the hydrophobic end groups
- The self-assembly mechanism depending on the design of the hydrophobic end groups
They are nonionic thickeners thus pH adjustment is not mandatory.
