Plastistrength^® acrylic processing aids enhance the extrusion or injection molding performance of polymer compounds by promoting fusion, improving melt strength, eliminating surface defects, and decreasing plate out. Plastistrength^® process aids also improve metal release and surface finish properties in extrusion or calendering. Vinyl compounds require less stearate, oxidized polyethylene, or paraffin wax with Plastistrength^® process aids.  Engineering resins like polycarbonate and its alloys gain better phase stability and easier processing with Plastistrength process aids.

Plastistrength® CF 1158 process aid is an innovative acrylic additive that provides outstanding melt strength for cellular PVC formulations. This property leads to excellent foam density, a homogeneous cellular structure, and a high-quality surface finish. Plastistrength® CF 1158 process aid has been specifically designed for use in thick PVC foam sheet and is also very effective in other PVC applications.
