Ecodis™ 80 is an ammonium neutralized polyacrylate dispersing agent for water-based systems. It ensures the complete dispersion of extenders and inorganic pigments at high solids contents in systems showing medium to high PVC (Pigment Volume Concentration). Very versatile and suitable for titanium dixide, Kaolin and calcium cabonates.Besides dispersion paints, the main applications for Ecodis™ 80 are in adhesives and wall paper pastes.

Their dispersion in water based systems must be achieved easily with common stirrers without forming agglomerates or causing a viscosity build up. Usual inorganic dispersants such as phosphate based dispersants are not able to solve this problem satisfactorily: their deflocculating effectiveness is limited by the fineness of the extenders used and their poor temperature stability (degradation through hydrolysis) affects the long term stability of paints. Ecodis™ C 20 has been especially developed to ensure the complete dispersion of extenders and inorganic pigments at high solids contents in systems showing medium to high PVC (Pigment Volume Concentration).

Ecodis™ C 30 has been especially developped as a lighter colored version of Ecodis™ P 30 with limited color evolution upon storage. It ensures the complete dispersion of extenders and inorganic pigments at high solids contents in systems showing medium to high PVC.

Ecodis™ N is a cost effective dispersant recommended for use in matt dispersion paints. It contributes to shorten the time needed for a proper incorporation of usual fillers and pigments (calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide) even when a high concentration in solids is required. Ecodis™ N also helps to ensure long term viscosity stability to dispersion paints showing a high solids content and/or a high PVC (pigment volumic concentration).

Ecodis™ NP is designed to disperse and stabilize a wide range of fillers, extenders and inorganic pigments. It enables to achieve mill bases with a high solids content and simultaneously a low viscosity using the most common stirrers or deflocculating tools. Ecodis™ NP is particularly adapted for the dispersion of fine calcium carbonates, clays and high value pigments such at titanium dioxide across a wide range of water based formulations. It ensures a very good storage stability even to formulations stored a long time at higher temperature, which is not the case of inorganic additives such as phosphate based dispersants. Ecodis™ NP contributes to reduce formulation costs thanks to its high effectiveness and to the reduction of grinding time.

Rationalisation of raw materials and simplification of the process are important issues for the paint makers. The design of Ecodis™ P 500 HR fully complies with these new requirements. Ecodis™ P 500 HR is a high effective acrylic dispersant which suppresses the need for further polyphosphate addition in order to control the hardness of the water used for the formulation. Ecodis™ P 500 HR is recommended for water-based systems showing a high PVC (Pigment Volumic Concentration), such as matt dispersion paints, thick film coatings and fillers. Ecodis™ P 500 HR shows excellent dispersion performances towards natural and precipitated calcium carbonates. Using low concentrations of Ecodis™ P 500 HR, deflocculation process is facilitated, compatibility with most of the binders is optimised, storage stability and water resistance are improved.

The dispersion of these extenders in water based systems must be achieved easily with common stirrers, without forming agglomerates or causing a viscosity build up. The usual inorganic dispersants do not solve this problem satisfactorly.Ecodis™ P 90 has been especially developed to overcome these problems. It ensures the complete dispersion of the extenders and the inorganic pigments at high solids contents and in systems with high P.V.C.

ENCOR® 1103 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, flexible and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1103 S is recommended for use in the following applications : - Paste or foam coatings, where it provides an excellent adhesion to polyesters and an excellent washing resistance. As an example, ENCOR®1103 S is ideally suited for black out coatings. - Bonding of nonwovens (e.g. interlining applications). - Pigment printing, especially on knitted cotton fabrics.

ENCOR® 1106 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, flexible and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1106 S is ideally suited for the bonding of nonwovens in wipes and in medical & hygiene applications.

ENCOR® 1131 is a pure acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very flexible and low tack film is obtained. ENCOR® 1131 is ideally suited for pigment printing applications where a high flexibility is required.

ENCOR® 1138 S is a self-crosslinking styrene-acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, flexible and almost tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1138 S is ideally suited for pigment printing applications, where it provides a soft and tack-free printed fabric, demonstrating good crockfastness.

ENCOR® 1149 S is a self-crosslinking styrene-acrylic binder, free from APEO surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. After the thermal crosslinking, ENCOR® 1149 S shows excellent mechanical properties in dry and wet conditions, combined with a strong water repellency effect and a very good solvent resistance. ENCOR® 1149 S is suitable for nonwoven consolidation or finishing, as well as for technical textile applications and glass fibers. Compatible with external cross-linkers for further increasing its thermal dimensional stability.

ENCOR® 1159 S is a low Tg self-crosslinking APEO free acrylic dispersion that finds application in the consolidation and finishing of nonwovens as well as for textile applications.

ENCOR® 1217 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, soft and slightly tacky film is obtained. ENCOR® 1217 S is recommended for use in the following applications : - Flocking, where it demonstrates excellent adhesive properties - Textile coating and lamination - Bonding of nonwovens, especially in filtration market

ENCOR® 1219 is an acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, flexible and low tack film is obtained. ENCOR® 1219 is ideally suited for foam applications in the textile (e.g. coating, lamination) and nonwoven industries.

ENCOR® 1220 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, soft and almost tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1220 S is well recommended for use in textile coatings (e.g. crushed foam coating), where it provides a good resistance to domestic washing and dry cleaning.

ENCOR® 1222 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, soft and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1222 S is recommended for use in the following applications : - Flocking, where it demonstrates excellent adhesive properties - Textile coating and lamination

ENCOR® 1230 S is a self-crosslinking APE-free acrylic dispersion. It gives a transparent, soft and tack-free film upon drying. ENCOR® 1230 S is suitable for various textile applications , including: - Textile coating and lamination - Pigment printing - Flocking

ENCOR® 1241 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1241 S is recommended for wadd bonding applications, where it provides a specific hand, without yellowing.

ENCOR® 1246 S is a self-crosslinking APE free acrylic binder that gives a transparent, soft and almost tack-free film upon drying. ENCOR®1246 S meets all the technical requirements of the pigment printing formulations, but can also be used for other textile and nonwoven applications calling for soft hand and chemical resistance.

ENCOR® 1248 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. Thanks to the well balanced softness it provides, ENCOR®1248 S is ideally suited for the production of melaminated papers.

ENCOR® 1269 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. It is recommended for the bonding of nonwovens and for the lamination of textiles, as well as for flocking adhesives. Good compatibility with fluorocarbons. For futher data please refer to the TDS.

ENCOR® 1300 is a vinyl acetate homopolymer dispersion, free from plasticizers and APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1300 is ideally suited for carpet backing. ENCOR® 1300 is especially advised when a quick setting speed and/or drying is required.

ENCOR® 1301 is an homopolymer based on vinyl acetate, free from plasticizers and APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent and stiff polymeric film is obtained. ENCOR® 1301 can be used for the consolidation and finishing of nonwovens, it finds also application as polymeric platicizer for UF, MF and phenolic based formulations.

A Plasticized vinyl acrylic for tape joint compounds for gypsum based dry-walls

ENCOR® 1345 S is a self-crosslinking vinyl-acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1345 S is recommended for use in the following applications : - Bonding of nonwovens and wadd, where it provides good overall resistance - Applications where high frequency sealing is required

ENCOR® 1370 is a vinyl acetate - vinyl versatate binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature (+10#C), a transparent, semi-flexible and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1370 is ideally suited for flocking applications, especially on hydrophobic substrates (e.g. polystyrene).

ENCOR® 1432 S is a self-crosslinking, styrene-acrylic binder, free from formaldehyde and APE surfactants. ENCOR® 1432 S is recommended for the bonding of nonwovens, where it demonstrates a very good mechanical resistance in dry and wet (water, alcali) conditions. This product is especially recommended for the bonding of glass fibre nonwovens.

ENCOR® 1736 is a thermoplastic pur acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR® 1736 is well suited for heat-sealable applications.

ENCOR® 1753 S is a self-crosslinking acrylic binder, free from APE surfactants. Drying the product over its minimum film forming temperature, a transparent, very rigid and tack-free film is obtained. ENCOR®1753 S is recommended for use in the following applications: - Wadd bonding, where it provides an excellent touch - Used as a stiffness regulating agent when combined with softer ENCOR®binders

ENCOR® 1842 is a formaldehyde-free, thermosetting polymer aqueous solution, designed to replace aminoplast resins or, in general, suitable when high crosslinking density is necessary. ENCOR® 1842 can be used as binder for natural fibers or inorganic materials, but it also performs well when used for nonwoven composites, especially based on glass fibres.

ENCOR® 2100 is a styrene acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates; it is ammonia-, solvent- and plasticizer-free. ENCOR® 2100 is a convenient binder for low VOC and low odour interior and exterior paints and plasters and for silicate based coatings. According to its mechanical and hydrophobic properties, this binder is also suitable for nonwoven and technical textiles.

ENCOR® 2100 MB is an 95% bio-attributed version of ENCOR® 2100 through mass balance. Styrene acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates; it is ammonia-, solvent- and plasticizer-free. ENCOR® 2100 MB is a convenient binder for low VOC and low odour interior and exterior paints and plasters and for silicate based coatings. According to its mechanical and hydrophobic properties, this binder is also suitable for nonwoven and technical textiles.

ENCOR® 2105 is a styrene acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates, solvent nor plasticizer. ENCOR® 2105 is a binder adapted to the formulation of low VOC roof and flexible exterior coatings. It exhibits a good durability thanks to its good and stable mechanical properties.

ENCOR® 2124 is an acrylic emulsion for wood stains and high gloss pigmented DIY-lacquers with good blocking resistance, low water absorption and excellent durability. ENCOR® 2124 is formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates.

ENCOR® 2138 is a pure-acrylic emulsion formulated with no alkylphenolethoxylates, ammonia, solvent nor formaldehyde. Based on ARKEMA's new technology for the development of high binding binders, ENCOR® 2138 is designed to be used in the formulations of low VOC plasters; interior paints exhibiting excellent wet scrub resistance; it is also perfectly adapted to exterior wall paints. Thanks to its very high binding power, ENCOR® 2138 allows to increase the PVC of the paint without compromising its wet scrub resistance. Its specific structure is known to limit the migration of surfactants and other leaching species, limiting "snail effect". Its low Minimum Film Formation Temperature allows the formulation of solvent-free and also coalescent-free paints. Applied at low temperature without any coalescing agent, high PVC paints based on ENCOR® 2138 keep their good wet scrub resistance.

ENCOR® 2140 is a pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenol ethoxylates and formaldehyde. ENCOR® 2140 is to be used as binder for high quality exterior paints.

ENCOR® 2144 is a fine particle size plasticizer- and solvent-free pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2144 is recommended for the formulation of solvent- free primers and groundings e. g. adsorbent substrate and chalking paints. Its very low particle size ensures a good penetration into the porous substrate and consolidates it. ENCOR® 2144 should be diluted to 15 % solid content using water.

ENCOR® 2167 is a self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates, designed for industrial coatings for wood. ENCOR® 2167 is suitable for the formulation of clear and pigmented sealers and satin or matt topcoats applied by spray and curtain coater. The warm aspect over wood of the coatings made with ENCOR® 2167 allows its use over either light or dark veneers in thin or thick layers. ENCOR® 2167 achieves good film formation and consequently good film performance drying under the most extreme conditions: high relative humidity and high temperature in case of ambient cure and high temperature without flash-off in case of application in fast drying lines.

ENCOR® 2171 is a hydroxylated self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates,formaldehyde free, designed for 1 pack and 2 pack industrial coatings for plastics, metals and wood. Wood application: ENCOR® 2171 is suitable for the formulation of clear and pigmented sealers and satin or matt topcoats applied by spray and curtain coater.The warm aspect over wood of the coatings made with ENCOR® 2171 allows its use over either light or dark veneers in thin or thick layers. Plastics and metals application: ENCOR® 2171 is suitable for formulation of clear and pigmented high gloss topcoats applied by spray or brush.

ENCOR® 2222 is a versatile pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2222 is designed to be used as binder for high quality exterior paints.

ENCOR® 2319 is a vinyl versatate dispersion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. Low viscosity  binder with good wet scrub resistance in matte paints

ENCOR® 2322 is a universal binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2322 is adapted to the formulation of interior and exterior plasters and wall paints.

ENCOR® 2326 is a universal binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2326 is a versatile product which allows the formulation of high quality satin and matt wall paints. It offers an excellent balance of gloss and blocking resistance to satin paints and an improved wet scrub resistance to matt paints versus classical vinylic emulsions.

ENCOR® 2341 is used as binder for fillers applied by roller in combination with alkali-soluble acrylic emulsions. ENCOR® 2341 is formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2341 is used in fillers for reconstituted wood substrates such as hardboard, MDF or HDF. It is usually combined with alkali-soluble emulsions so as to obtain the best balance between transfer efficiency from the roller machines to the panels and water resistance. Suitable alkali-soluble emulsion to be combined with ENCOR® 2341 is ENCOR® 2229.

ENCOR® 2394 is a vinylacetate copolymer dispersion for intumescent paints.

ENCOR® 2421 is a low viscous styrene acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2421 is a convenient binder for interior and exterior wall paints from high PVC matt paints with excellent scrub resistance to glossy coatings. ENCOR® 2421 shows a high reactivity towards rheology modifiers.

ENCOR® 2423 is a high viscous versatile binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2423 is a universal binder that is used in the formulation of indoor highly filled matt paints with excellent scrub resistance, as well as glossy wall paints, outdoor paints, thick textured coatings and silicate based coatings.

ENCOR® 2425 is a versatile binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates or formaldehyde. ENCOR® 2425 is a universal binder that is used in the formulation of indoor highly filled matt paints with good scrub resistance, as well as glossy wall paints, outdoor paints and thick textured coatings.

ENCOR® 2426 is a versatile binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates, ammonia or formaldehyde. ENCOR® 2426 is a universal binder that is used in the formulation of indoor highly filled matt paints with good scrub resistance, as well as glossy wall paints, outdoor paints and thick textured coatings. According to its mechanical and hydrophobic properties, this binder is also suitable for nonwoven and technical textiles.

ENCOR® 2455 is a hard polymer that provides films with good water and solvent resistances. Due to its low particle size, ENCOR® 2455 has good penetration and wetting ability on wood.ENCOR® 2455 is formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates.ENCOR® 2455 is used as vehicle in industrial wood stains. It is also used in formulations for metal primers.

Cost-effective binder for elastomeric coatings.

ENCOR® 2505 is a pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2505 is particularly adapted to the formulation of paints and primers for mineral substrates. Its specific design ensures a very good resistance to alcaline media: its mechanical properties are stable and no embrittlement of the coating is observed upon ageing.

ENCOR® 2510 is a pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2510 is particularly adapted to the formulation of house paints and architectural universal primers. It is recommended for exterior wood coatings with excellent adhesion to wood and aged alkyds, and long term durability. ENCOR® 2510 can also be used in non-yellowing varnishes for the protection of special decorative coatings, such as multi-coloured coatings.

ENCOR® 2514 is an acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2514 is recommended for the formulation of solvent- free primers and groundings e.g. adsorbent substrate and chalking paints. Its very low particle size ensures a good penetration into the substrate enabling to consolidate it. ENCOR® 2514 should be diluted to 15 % solid content using water.

ENCOR® 2710 is a low MFFT pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenoltehoxylates or formaldehyde. ENCOR® 2710 is designed for the formulation of stain-blocking paints and primers for wood and walls. Due to its large adhesion profile, ENCOR® 2710 is also well adapted to the formulations of multi-substrates architectural primers and renovation wall paints. Its specific composition ensures very good stain blocking properties without the use of zinc oxide: therefore it is easy to formulate stable coatings. To avoid the extraction of watersoluble colored species from the substrate, it is recommended not to use too hydrophilic additives.

ENCOR® 2711 is used as binder for wood primers and wall paints with good stain-blocking properties . It can be formulated with or without zinc oxide. ENCOR® 2711 is formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates.

Self-crosslinking styrene acrylic binder with high Tg for industrial woodfinishing applications. Good sandability, alkali, and chemical resistance.

ENCOR® 2741 is a pure acrylic emulsion formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates. ENCOR® 2741 is adapted to the formulation of satin and glossy interior wall coatings and high quality exterior paints.

ENCOR® 2787 is a modified hydrophobic pure acrylic binder formulated without alkylphenolethoxylates and formaldehyde releaser free. ENCOR® 2787 is a high performance emulsion which demonstrates an outstanding water resistance and hydrophobicity. It is particularly adapted to the formulation of premium paints for exterior masonry with an excellent durability and adhesion. ENCOR® 2787 stands out because of the versatility of its wide formulation range. ENCOR® 5116 is a binder specifically designed for the formulation of flexible and waterproofing two-component cement based membranes, characterised by low surface tackiness. This product finds also application in the formulation of repairing mortars as well as ceramic tile adhesives and sealants. Thanks to the low VOC content and the absence of ammonia development during the mixing and setting phases, this product is particularly suggested for indoor applications.

ENCOR® 5150 is ideally suited for the modification of mortars and two-component cement compositions for several applications in the field of resurfacing and repairing. ENCOR® 5150 imparts liquid consistency and good workability to the mortars allowing the reduction of the required water during their preparation. Cement mortars prepared with ENCOR® 5150 show improved flexural strength and enhanced durability.

ENCOR® 5163 is an all acrylic latex which dries into a permanently tacky film. This product is free from solvents, plasticizers and APE-based surfactants. ENCOR® 5163 has been designed for the manufacturing of construction adhesives and high quality sealants.

ENCOR® 5340 is a vinyl acetate homopolymer binder, stabilized with polyvinyl alcohols. This product is free from APE surfactants and is modified with a phthalate-free plasticizer. ENCOR® 5340 is ideally suited for the modification of cement based compounds such as mortars and grouts to increase their mechanical properties (flexural strength), adhesion to mineral substrates and freeze-thaw resistance. ENCOR® 5340 imparts good workability to the mortars allowing the reduction of the required water during their preparation.

ENCOR® 5425 is a low VOC, styrene-acrylic copolymer latex. This product is free from coalescing agents and APE surfactants. ENCOR® 5425 is recommended for the formulation of liquid roofing membranes and ceramic tile paste adhesives. ENCOR® 5425 finds also application in the formulation of cost effective pigmented sealants.

ENCOR® 5426 is a low VOC, styrene-acrylic copolymer latex. This product is free from coalescing agents and APE surfactants and ammonia. ENCOR® 5426 is recommended for the formulation of liquid roofing membranes and ceramic tile paste adhesives. ENCOR® 5426 finds also application in the formulation of cost effective pigmented sealants.

ENCOR® 5432 is a self-crosslinking styrene-acrylic latex. This product is free from coalescing agents, plasticizers and APE surfactants. ENCOR® 5432 is mainly used in the formulation of construction adhesives, plasters and renders. This product is particularly recommended for the production of high performance ceramic tile adhesives complying with EN 12004 D2 class.

ENCOR® 5525 is a cement-compatible styrene-acrylic latex. This product is free from coalescing agents, plasticizers and APE surfactants. ENCOR® 5525 is ideally suited for the modification of mortars and two-component cement-based compositions for several applications in the field of surfacing, repairing repairing mortars, primers and adhesives ENCOR® 5525 imparts liquid consistency and good workability to the mortars allowing a remarkable reduction of the required water during their preparation. Mortars modified with ENCOR® 5525 shows a newtonian rheological behaviour. Flexural strength, adhesion, water resistance and durability are then strongly enhanced.
